Our Water Sports operation is on the far side of the beach.

We have a small hut on the jetty which is affectionately called “Anna’s Office”. This is where everyone comes to find out about the boat hire which is our main business and the water ski school which has “ringo” rides, wake-boarding and of course water ski-ing.

Whilst enquiring about boats people also like a chat and to find out about various things such as the times of the buses and where the nearest cash point is!

The Water Sports platform is open from 9AM, or earlier if we have special requests from keen skiers who want to get out on the water before there is any boat traffic!

We tend to ‘close’ between about 2 – 4 when the sun is at its hottest and most people are in a nice shady taverna enjoying a cold drink. In the evenings we stay open until about 8PM

WATERSKIING– Beginners and Experienced

Asterios takes great pride in his successful teaching of beginners. He is now teaching the children of children whom he has taught over the years! Beginners first have a lesson on the jetty and then we put you in the water with your skis and of course your life jacket. With most people if you do exactly as you are told you will soon be whizzing around the bay! For those wishing to progress onto one ski from two, we have a wide choice of mono skies on the platform.

Cost- €20 per tow (approximately 10 minutes) Discounts for block a booking of 5 lessons

Wakeboarding

This is the popular sport of the young and Asterios is a keen instructor of this “new” water-sport.

Fun Things

For those who just want a bit of fun we have the ringo rides. These are circular tubes that are towed behind the speedboat. Up to four people can be towed at the same time and it is fantastic fun.

The rides are adjusted according to the ages of the people. For those who like some comfort we now have the flying sofa, which flies up and out of the water, causing shrieks of laughter!

Teenagers just want to go as fast as possible while the smaller children (and mums) want a more ‘gentle’ ride. There is a ride to suit everybody!

Cost- €10 per person per ride.
